Once a derelict area, the Kelwood Arboretum Garden (land belongs to the RM of Rosedale) now offers a peaceful pause and an inspirational oasis for those who want to sit and breathe, for those that drive by slowly take in the ever changing colour, and for those who stroll through on their way to somewhere else.
The garden also provides a home for the Eleanore Rose Outdoor Quilt Show and a lovely spot for community gatherings, weddings and family photos.

In 2026 the installation for the permanent quilt structures will be set in motion, With preparations for the Eleanor Rose Outdoor Quilt Show in the
Arboretum Garden.

Flat trails are trails especially groomed for walking, hiking, fat biking (fat tires)
and snowshoeing.

organisation formed by mountain bikers in 2014 that amalgamated with
the McCreary Ski & Outdoor Club.
