Parkland Permaculture is a permaculture group that meets on the first Wednesday of every month in Kelwood, Manitoba, and serves the area around Manitoba's Riding Mountain National Park. Initiatives Include coordinated seed saving and a distributed seed bank, nursery stock, scion wood for grafting, plus cooperatively-owned infrastructure for member use. Egg incubator, soil blockers, etc Community/member support in the form of education, "permablitzes" and an emerging local economy also form a core of Parkland Permaculture's mandate. |
