Parkland Permaculture is a permaculture group that meets on the first Wednesday of every month in Kelwood, Manitoba, and serves the area around Manitoba's Riding Mountain National Park. Project Description Parkland Permaculture seeks to apply Permaculture design principles and support to members and landscapes surrounding Riding Mountain National Park |
Initiatives Include coordinated seed saving and a distributed seed bank, nursery stock, scion wood for grafting, plus cooperatively-owned infrastructure for member use. Egg incubator, soil blockers, etc Community/member support in the form of education, "permablitzes" and an emerging local economy also form a core of Parkland Permaculture's mandate. |
