Flat trails are trails especially groomed for walking, snowshoeing and fat biking (fat tires). Keep the following in mind. Please contact someone at Dead Ox Trailblazers about groomed trails before heading out. |

Drop on by for a stroll into the MTN General Store buy a refreshing drink and a gift and pop by THE INFAMOUS RESTAURANT CAFÉ 37 IN downTOWN kelwood For Anne's Homestyle cooking or the Farmers Daughter Restaurant Which is also in the same barn as the MTN General for one of Chef Connie’s fabulous Burgers & FRIES, OR A DELICIOUS farmers daughter Pizza made WITH a HOMEMADE SOURDOUGH CRUST and if i'm not mistaken that is real cheese she uses on the ZZa. the kelwood legion (branch #50) IS ALSO A GREAT PLACE FOR A BITE & REFRESHMENTS.

Parkland Permaculture is a permaculture group that meets on the first Wednesday of every month in Kelwood, Manitoba, and serves the area around Manitoba's Riding Mountain National Park
Project Description
Parkland Permaculture seeks to apply Permaculture design principles and support to members and landscapes surrounding Riding Mountain National Park
Initiatives
Include coordinated seed saving and a distributed seed bank, nursery stock, scion wood for grafting, plus cooperatively-owned infrastructure for member use(egg incubator, soil blockers, etc
Community/member support in the form of education, "permablitzes" and an emerging local economy also form a core of Parkland Permaculture's mandate.
